In the sedimentation tanks of paper mills, issues such as poor appearance due to foaming in the wastewater process and environmental impacts from SS outflow were problematic. By using a defoamer, we significantly improved the outflow of foam and SS. Additionally, the amount of defoamer used at the discharge outlet was reduced, leading to cost savings.
